1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Zen Home ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of the App

Zen Home is a meditation app rooted in Japanese Zen Buddhism (Soto and Rinzai traditions). The App provides meditation timers, guidance, and related features to support your meditation practice.

3. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms of Use.

4. Subscription and Payment

Zen Home offers the following subscription plans to unlock the full app:

All subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account.

Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. For the annual plan, the subscription will begin to be charged after the 7-day free trial ends.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancellation must be made at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period to avoid being charged for the next period. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain access until then.

Refunds: Refunds are not provided except as required by applicable law or the policies of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

5. Intellectual Property

All content in the App — including but not limited to design, graphics, sounds, text, and code — is the property of the developer and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App.

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, and warranties that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Zen Home is a meditation tool and is not a substitute for professional medical or mental health advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you have any health concerns, consult a qualified healthcare provider before beginning a meditation practice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Use or is harmful to other users or the App.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms of Use is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
